Voice Lessons at Gifted Music School

For students ages 13 and older, we provide individualized voice lessons, offering personalized guidance to refine technique, build confidence, and foster a deep connection to the art of singing. Younger students, ages 13 and under, can explore their vocal talents through our children’s choirs and group voice lessons, where they learn foundational skills while experiencing the joy of singing in a collaborative setting.

In addition to private lessons, Gifted Music School offers a variety of choral music opportunities, allowing singers to enhance their vocal abilities in group settings. Our program is designed to develop not only vocal skills but also teamwork, musical expression, and the self-confidence that comes from performing with others.

At Gifted Music School, voice students will develop the essential skills needed for confident, expressive singing. Some of the more important skills that students will learn are breath control which allows students to produce a clear, sustained sound and maintain control over pitch and volume. They will also learn the proper posture to allow for optimal airflow to control vocal projection.

Students will learn the importance of articulation when singing. Proper diction ensures clarity and helps convey emotion and meaning in a song. They will also learn how to hear and match pitches to be able to train their hearing to be able to sing in tune

Tuition for voice lessons varies depending on the instructor and the length of the lesson. Detailed tuition ranges by department are available here. This allows families to choose the best fit for their needs. The lesson package includes all regular lessons, studio recitals, and group performance opportunities, providing a well-rounded musical education.

Our school’s mission is to help as many students as posisble experience the joy of music, regardless of financial constraints. We offer several need- based and merit-based scholarships. We would love to have you apply.

My daughter has loved being apart of GMS. She's had amazing experiences because of it and has grown so much as a musician. We're so grateful she had this opportunity before college.

We feel lucky to have found GMS two years ago. At first, our kids were just in the children's choir, but we later added voice, violin, and piano lessons. All the teachers are top notch!
