Meet the Faculty
Kimberly Marsden
Kimberly Marsden holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Wichita State University and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Utah. With years of experience as a collaborative pianist, composer, and educator, Kimberly has studied with renowned instructors and composers across the U.S. and Switzerland. She has specialized training in Suzuki, Music Together, Orff, and Harmony Road methods, making her well-versed in teaching music to young children. In addition to her teaching roles at several institutions, including Gifted Music School, she actively supports the local music community as the chair of the Bountiful Davis Art Center music committee. Kimberly is passionate about nurturing young musicians and helping them develop a deep connection to music.

A parent or caregiver is required to accompany their child to every class, playing an essential role in their child’s learning journey. As their most important musical and social role model, your presence encourages your child to engage fully in musical play and gain the many developmental benefits of interactive music-making. Together, we create a supportive, joyful learning environment that nurtures your child’s growth and creativity.
Class Schedule
Music Foundations classes are offered once a week, for 45 minutes, across 12 weeks each semester. Classes run from the week of September 10th through December 13th.
- Saturdays: 11:00-11:45 (September 6, 13, 20, 27, October 4, 11, November 1, 8, 15, 22)
Tuition
- $250/semester with $25 registration fee

Signing up for lessons and classes is easy! Go to our new student registration page and fill out the form. You can choose from a variety of programs based on your interests and skill level. We will be in touch with you shortly after the form is completed. If you’re not sure where to start, feel free to contact us, and we’ll guide you in selecting the right program for you or your child.
What are the major programs at the school?
We offer a range of programs designed to meet the needs of students at every level of their musical journey:
- Conservatory: For serious students who gain admission through audition. Once admitted, students receive a full scholarship for all their classes.
- Preparatory: High-level tuition-based lessons and classes open to students of all ages from the general community. Scholarships are available to help support aspiring musicians.
- GRIT Program: Our comprehensive outreach program in Title I schools, bringing high-quality music education to underserved communities.
- Young Composers Academy (YCA): Tuition-based Conservatory classes and opportunities that are available to the general public.
- Suzuki Program: A part of the Preparatory Program, focused on string students using the renowned Suzuki method.
