The clarinet—a single-reed woodwind instrument—is known for its rich, warm sound and versatility across genres. Typically starting at ages 8 or 9 to ensure the necessary lung capacity, students quickly discover the joy of making music with this expressive instrument. With opportunities to learn proper technique, build breath control, and develop a wide dynamic range, every student at Gifted Music School is given the tools to grow from beginner to artist.

Our comprehensive program goes beyond private lessons to offer chamber music, group classes, recitals, masterclasses, and more. Every student becomes part of a nurturing community that encourages collaboration, musical exploration, and excellence, helping them to flourish both on stage and in life.

We feel lucky to have found GMS two years ago. At first, our kids were just in the children's choir, but we later added voice, violin, and piano lessons. All the teachers are top notch!
