Young Artists Program

The Young Artists program at the Gifted Music School is a program for the advanced students of the GMS Preparatory Division and students of other teachers in the area. Students are accepted into this program by audition, and are expected to be committed to a higher level of consistent work than the average student.

The Young Artists program is intended for those students who desire to prepare more seriously for a possible career in music (such as becoming a music major in college), be in inspiring classes and ensembles with other like-minded students, and explore and understand the demands of auditioning for programs like the full-scholarship Conservatory at GMS.

This program will offer group classes such as solfege, eurythmics, piano ensemble, and performance opportunities. All classes and rehearsals will be taught by top-level GMS Conservatory faculty. For many students, the Young Artist Program is the ideal destination program with the perfect blend of demanding standards, high-level music instruction, camaraderie, fun, and inspiration.

Please note that enrolling in the Young Artists program does not ensure acceptance into the full-scholarship Conservatory at GMS. The Young Artists Program falls under the Preparatory Division at GMS, and follows the Preparatory Division calendar.
