Megan Mason Biography
Ms. Mason was a Gold Medal recipient at the 2012 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition & was awarded prizes at the 2012 London and 2013 Bordeaux International String Quartet Competitions as well as the 2008 J. C. Arriaga Chamber Music Competition. She took First Place, in the Concerto Competition at the University of Colorado in Boulder, 2010 and First Place at the Regional and MichiganState Competitions of the Music Teachers National Association, 2007. She received her Bachelor of Music with Highest Honors, Music Performance, University of Michigan, 2006 and Master of Music, Music Performance, The Juilliard School, 2009. She is currently an assistant professor of music at Southern Virginia University.
