Professional activities:
Dr. Yerby’s performances have taken him across the United States and Canada. He has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at New England Conservatory’s prestigious Jordan Hall, the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum, and countless venues ranging from the Françoys-Bernier Concert Hall at Domain Forget in Quebec, Canada to the Brau-House in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Dr. Yerby is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Seven Hills Guitar Series, a non-profit artist series based in Tallahassee, Florida. His teachers and mentors are celebrated as the world’s finest performers and pedagogues.

Dr. Watanabe’s students have been accepted into many prestigious music schools including the Juilliard School, the New England Conservatory of Music, Peabody Institute, Manhattan School of Music, Eastman, and the Cleveland Institute of Music. Her Students have been recognized at national and international competitions, and at every important statewide competition including performances with the Utah Symphony on their annual Salute to Youth program.

Dr. Watanabe is a Steinway Artist.
