About Us

"Unparalleled excellence in Music Education" Founded in 2008 by Eugene Watanabe, the Gifted Music School is a 501(c)3 non-profit children’s music school located in Salt Lake City. The school is committed to creating a new standard for music education in the United States. Two schools feature a complete curriculum and world-level faculty.
A full scholarship program for serious and committed students (ages 6-18). Our goal is to eventually combine top level academics program with a full-time comprehensive music education for children. Auditions are held once a year in the spring.
Preparatory Department and Suzuki String School: For ages 3-18. A community based music program for all students. Limited need and merit based tuition assistance scholarships are available on a limited basis. Piano, violin, cello, viola, theory, musicianship, chamber music.
The Preparatory program also features Utah’s first official school Suzuki String Program featuring certified AND degreed instructors trained at premier music schools.
